Our
Mission Statement
It
is the mission of the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office
& Detention Center to serve all people with integrity, honesty,
and fairness. Our primary duty is to protect both life and property by
all means of promoting professionalism in our character, appearance and
mission. To provide and maintain a safe and humane environment, which
offers an opportunity to change for those inmates who choose to take
advantage of opportunities provided to them. We are committed to
serving our county to enhance and promote public trust.
It is our
goal that the service we provide, reflect the pride
and respect we hold for our organization.

to serve all people with respect, fairness and
